THE ESCORT BIBLE FOR THE CATHEDRAL TOWN OF BURY ST EDMUNDS

An archeological dig in 2010 uncovered Bury St Edmunds Bronze Age origins. They also found Roman artefacts. The town was a royal borough with the Saxons and acquired its title resulting from it becoming the burial put of King Edmund The Martyr, who was killed via the Danes in 869.
